Yeah I just made a reference to Big Black. Mostly because my arms feel like jello from P90X, and today is the 22'nd. Wow. Go Meana!
So reading that you may believe that I would be the type of person who celebrated a certain holiday two days ago on the Parliament Hill. Good news folks, I never have!
Not that I am against it, I sat 50 feet away and saw the huge smoke cloud sitting on top of the hill. Followed shortly by a nice herbal smell. Yum. Thanks 420!
Now here's something super duper diddily awesome!
Bluesfest.
Do I need to say more?
Well, I will.
Here are my pics for the Bluesfest season. I can't promise that I will go to each of them, but I will try. I really will.
Alexisonfire, B-52, Drake, Down with Webster, Great Big Sea, Joan Jett, Metric, and Weezer.
There may be some other shows I wouldn't be opposed to see if somebody invited me to go, but we'll see what happens with that.
Carpe Diem

Happy Kidney Month and Early Spring!!
So it's been just over a month since my last post, so this post will contain most of what mattered to me this month, and I will try to keep my posts more frequent!
In March of last year I was diagnosed with Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD). It is an incurable genetic disease that forms many cysts on the kidneys, eventually leading to kidney failure. PKD affects more than 12.5 million people, and it is suspected that there are millions more people affected who will not know it until it becomes a serious problem.
Soon after I was diagnosed my whole family became proactive in getting tested, and raising funds and awareness for PKD.
I would not be able to get through this without my family and friends. I am so grateful for everything they have done for me.
On a happier note, SPRING HAS ARRIVED!!
The sun here in Ottawa is beaming, and the temperature is rising up to 15°c. I have been missing out on all that vitamin D! I plan to take my bike out tomorrow and do a tour of the canal.
Another good thing happening this spring is that my sister will be moving back in with me on the first of April! I've always been used to seeing her everyday, so it will be nice having family around me all the time again.
What are you most excited for this spring? Fashion? Weather? Sports? Tanning?
Let me know.

Carpe Diem.
